Question concerning Khajiit 'Eye of Night"

In Oblivion you could cast at will, is it limited to once a day now?

no idea, I just hope they take away that blue tint - that was always a first thing to go on my mod list.

I doubt it, night vision was very intrusive in the last game and I found that I constantly turned it on and off just so I would not have to look at things with that horrible blue tint.

As an avid khajiit player, I really hope it is a passive effect and it activates naturally in low light situations.

I'm going to have to disagree with you lol only because I didn't use it every night but depending on what it looks like now I might change my mind who knows till 11/11/11?

In Morrowind I thought Eye of Night was a handy thing to have, but in Oblivion the blue tint just annoyed me and I seldom used it. Same thing with whatever you call that potion made from Nirnroot.

I love the utility of Nightvision, but hated having to wait for it to wear off. I just hope that the toolset scripts are similar enough to Oblivion that I can quickly tweak Eye of Night into a toggle. That and also tack Detect Life onto it,

Cast at will. Spell lasts 60 seconds. Can keep it up for infinity if you want.

This would be nice. It adds realism.

Any racial ability is pretty useless assuming alchemy works like in previous games. You can make nighteye potions that last until you decide to rest.

@ Anobody13 I just think it would feel more organic if it did it on its own instead of having to cast it. I doubt my cat at home has to cast it to see in the dark, therefore khajiit shouldn't have to cast it. I'm sure it will probably be cast infinite amount of times like in oblivion though. Hope they ditched that horrid blue tint though, I prefer the way morrowind did it.
