Question for the Vampires: Personal Vampire Thrall?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 3:46 pm

Hello there

So, if you've wandered around Skyrim at night, you've likely come across vampires roaming the countryside. Sometimes they have a companion with them: a Vampire Thrall, a human servant.

I was wondering if you get any of those in Castle Volkihar? Human servants/slaves that are serving you, whether they want to or not. If so, is it possible to use them as followers?

For the main quest line, yes.

Otherwise, no.

Dead thralls?

Not dead thralls. A thrall is just a servant. I'm kind of talking about a human basically serving the role of a housecarl for you in Castle Volkihar. Whether they're doing so willingly or not would be another matter entirely.

I know. What I meant by my post is I think dead thralls are the only way to have a thrall companion. Sorry

Oh. Sorry, I misunderstood. That's disappointing.

Familiars.

Do you get any of those for joining the Volkihar? Or are you still stuck with that pathetically weak wolf spirit? I use him when I want company, but the poor pup can't do anything.

I dont believe so. You really dont get alot by joining the vampires. Vampire Lord form is the one major thing.

Not that I know of. I don't even have Dawnguard. I meant "familiars" as the people in the Blade franchise who deliberatly work for vampires for the sole purpose of being turned.

Vampire's seduction makes people temporarily your thrall though they don't follow you..thats about it.

You can feed on people when you use Vampire's seduction on awake people though.

Whats even worse. You cant use other illusion to feed on people (pacify).

You gotta get almost all of the Illusion perks just to be able to use Vampire's seduction at higher levels.

(I'm lvl 81 on my vamp char and it works on everyone...cept dragons and Maven Black briar..for some reason)

I am full illusion too. What I am saying is that I cant use pacify in substitute of vampire seduction.
