question for xbox 360 4gb owners...

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:52 pm

will this model be enough to save games for FNV or will I need to upgrade the hard drive?

Im not a hardcoe downloader and dont plan on using it online at all... just gonna play FNV, I only usually play 1 game at a time.

Well don't use too many save-files though.
I remember mine getting up to 7mb per save file.
So if I saved on a new file every time I saved with that character and I saved 100 times I would have used up 700mb.
So just keep it to 10 save files per character maximum.

it most likely will. Most games now are around 6-10gb especially open world games like this one.

Mass Effect takes up about 5 gigs on my 360, and New Vegas seems like it would be a bigger game...

of course i bought it through Xbox live not a physical copy so idk if that makes a difference.

It's 10gb on PC so they probably compressed it to 6 or 7 on console

If he wants to install the game to his HDD, then he would need more room, since it would be over 4GB of space. (Also its downloading if you are getting it from the internet, but if you are getting from the disk, its just called installing)

...4gb? wow, I knew 360 was smaller than PS3 but not by that much...I've filled my 60gb PS3, 4gb wouldn't work for me...

I'm not sure it will be a good idea, although the game data tends to be small compared to the full install on PC it will still take up a lot of room.

On FO3 my larger game files tended to be 10mb, that's generally full completion (MQ done, most sidequests done, long since max level). So it takes up a lot of room...

4GB version is an option, the user has the choice to place up to a 250GB drive in there.

Thank god for that! I was thinking madness. 60GB is really small but I don't have much on there (excepting a few classic games which work better off CD)...250GB is much more reasonable.

I keep 7gb free on my harddisc for game installs... I am yet to find a game that took more than 6.7gb of space or less than 5gb.
