Guys! i checked your official facebook page today and is said about a downloadable editor for crysis 2,

no platforms were mentioned though although there is an "export to console" option

will this be available on the PS3/Xbox?

thanks :)

There is no Editor for consoles. CryENGINE3 uses "Live Create" to stream data from PC to consoles so that you can see in real time what it looks like on the console.

So in the future, when i want to stream data from PC to consoles, how should be my system requirements (the same as in Crysis 2 ) ? I ask because my pc is very, very, very,... old. ; )
Sorry for my english

Yes ADAM thats for writing games etc hope you check your info a bit more carefully as your link isnt to the editors mentioned- and Seeing as Ps3 owners pay more for this title than PC owners (FORMaTISM again) Id hope that we would at least get the scaled down Crysis 2 editor, out of the 3 available.
If not ,why not?????, and if we get the map editor for c2 on Pc can we play on our Ps3????

It's about creating your own content on pc and transfer it to console. Am I right ?

Yeah i think every map made gets stream to a ps3 server, "Live Stream" gives us freedom of custom made maps :), as far as i know. what you said is exactly right.

basically exactly the same as far crys editor. People could create and share maps using the same editor. From what i read this is allowed for pc users, but will make things easier for devs when they make dlc's in the future

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbdJ4B7qk8k
thats a CRYSIS 1 MAP PART MISSION 1 ISLAND IT WAS PORTEDUSIND THE CRYengine3 above ported to ps3 yes its possible to import crysis 1 to ps3 using crysis 2 and cyengine 3 and the cryengine 3 is wat the developers use to make crysis 2 from the ground up ..the cryengine 3 its only usable in pc its for us the modders
so dont worry ps3 users you can to play crysis 2 on you ps3 in the next year or in the coming months so the only way to use the cyengine on PC is
1-crysis 2 retail game
2-the cryengine 3
AND YES I PLAY CRYSIS 2 ON PC MY PS3 HAD THE YLOD SO I BUY IT INSTED FOR PC (i always have been a PC gamer and ps3)

Let's hope someone fixes multiplayer then! It plays more like COD:Black Ops then Crysis 1. Please add vehicles (even Far Cry had vehicles in MP), a vtol, helo, bring back the alien weapons, tanks, larger maps, the ability to Prone. I could go on, but I've already posted all these before.

So far 3 separate mod tools have been mentioned by crytek - A c2 map editor (can be done on all systems) sandbox 3 free SDK and the full i wanna make games and money Sandbox/ce3 at variable prices.

IF map editor is PC only then thats a big up yours to the console community
But it wont be so bad IF levels made with the free SDK can be easily ported and not just for HACKED ps3's
Where is the love crytek - we goddamn paid for it
