From my understanding, eyeliner is the cause of the burnt face vampire glitch.

What I want to do is cure my VL and get surgery, clear the eyeliner slider, then become a VL again. Now, my concern is necromage. My character got Necromage first THEN every other perk I've taken so that I'd get the boost from being undead + necromage. My question is, if I get cured then become a VL again, do I lose the boosts for the perks affected by Necromage?

Nope. If you are not playing PC and got the lates unofficial patch. You will still have the boost after curing yourself.

Supposedly, going into Vampire Lord form will clear up the glitch. Have you tried that?

It does. But but only until I reload. It's still a nuisance.
