Question Regarding the "Optimal" Build

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 7:32 am

There has been someone who had discovered an http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1266212-2469-armor-3199-damage-using-smithing-alchemy-enchanting-only-31-perks/ in a subsection of the forums and I personally find it rather interesting. One problem though: actually playing it legitimately without an excessive amount of grinding, minimal use of the console, and feeling as if you are actually playing the game. I like min-maxing but I would rather not have to sacrifice enjoying the game to achieve it.

I'll keep this short and ask this: is there any way to play this without excessive grinding (maxing out each of the required skills one at a time) or use of the console?

I am beginning to think there is no way to do this without doing an inordinate amount of grinding. I can handle doing the Alchemy/Smithing/Enchanting grinding, but grinding Heavy Armor seems like an absolute chore.

Anyone tried the silverfish trick from Morrowind?

Heh, unfortunately I tried Morrowind but didn't really enjoy it. What exactly is the silverfish trick?
