Question to the Devs

Post » Tue Jan 11, 2011 9:32 am

So is really joining the kings after the G.I. Blues quest the only way to get a new hairstyle? Since a lot of people have been searching for this it would be nice if one of the devs can confirm this and maybe it is an idea to release a patch that adds the barber function to another character in the wasteland?

thanks in advance!

Yeah I would like a answear, I googled it and found that apparently there is a place called supercuts in the outskirts of NV but I have not found it yet, this may be bunk.

I have never found another way to get the Hair Cut other than to join the Kings - but then you have to ... solve the King Peace issue with violence.

and that's why i'm asking if it would be possible to release a patch that adds the barber function to a certain character.. as i think a lot of people are still searching for a second barber while there is none.

it seems with all the backlash about the game being broken/unplayable for so many they decided to stop commenting here..

which is sad, i feel like they are abandoning us that have real questions..

i guess i would rather have them working on a patch...but cmon, SOMEONE can at least come here and say "we hear you, we are just very busy right now, give us time"

ANY response would be at least something!

There will be future patches you don't need a Dev to tell you that. There is an issue forum for this reason. I have yet to encounter a game release that is bug free. It happens and there really isn't a way to release a perfect game especially one of Fallout: New Vegas' magnitude. There were patches for Fallout 3 as well it wasn't perfect on release either. I have had very little problems with the PC version. Realize also that if you own the PC version what can't be fixed via patch can eventually be fixed by modders.

Remember also that people were just complaining and not actually trying to help. Bugs can't be fixed if there is no way to recreate them.
