Question to the forum staff, is IdBethesda listening to the

And is there some sort of timeline we can expect an official announcement as to what's going to be done about this? There's quite a few disgruntled people concerned about the state of this release and i'm sure we are all wondering if Id Software is going to be working on a patch.

I know other developers do (IE Runic Games staff on Steam's Torchlight subforum) so why not take a few minutes a day to write out replies in regards to all the complaints posted here?

Some of the concerns have already been addressed by gStaff, and earlier reports no new lighting model were incorrect... I posted about them here with references

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2973683

there's still some concern about the Doom 2 IWAD file, whether the SS/Nazi references were completely removed from the WAD file and replaced with the new secret levels in its entirety, or if the new secret levels were just made, added in, and the old stuff relabelled and packed away inside the IWAD. There's guys here saying they have confirmation it's still in the IWAD and causes no compatibility issues with source ports and old DOOM mods, and there's guys over at Doomworld saying it's been completely removed.

The SS Nazi sprites were replaced with dummy zombieman sprites (IE just one sprite replacing all methinks) and the nazi wall patches are just the wall textures.

I don't think they care, last response I got was day of release. It's okay though I paid 30 dollars and still can't enjoy this game. It's Rage all over again but I guess this isn't a big enough release for them to fix it this time. Guess I have to buy Nvidia to enjoy iD's games?

Only longtime Doom fans will care about the censorship.

The nazi thing, i get it. But it is also in my opinion that people should never forget what happened... removing these things not only takes away from the game, but from history..
Should we forget everything bad? have nothing to remind us apon whats happenened in the past? yes people getting that symbol as tattoos these days i agree they shouldnt be allowed to do that.
but as i said taking from the game seems odd. and as bad as the nazi thing was, some stuff ive seen recently has led me to be even more distured by what ive read about or seen etc.. Such as this Darfur crisis...
i saw the film by uwe boll,.. that was the most difficult film to sit through, i think for anyone that rings true. but to forget these things i think is wrong. we need to remember the people who suffered.

thats my thoughts.
