"Increasing number of factions" my tail.

I'd call my faction The Scholars. We'd travel around Nirn, collecting masses of lore. There'd be an outer circle of members and then the inner circle would secretly worship Hermaeus Mora. And then there'd be a questline where you could choose either to join in on the servitude of the Daedric prince, or weed out the inner circle and establish one not so corrupt and evil.
