Now I know what you're probably thinking... the Tytanis mod has already done this. My answer to that is... not exactly. What the mod did is create it's own weapons (Warmaster) that you had to make in the smith if you actually wanted to dual wield them. As for what he did to the weapons, he made them all one-handed which is nice but it's not what it should be, a mod that lets you pick up any weapon that you find that's two handed and be able to dual wield it.
I've already finished the new mod that does exactly this but there's 2 different problems in each version and I'll list those too.
1) This version shows both weapons but you will be holding them both in the two-handed weapon stance and take up a lot of the right side of your screen. This looks clunky but it does work. The weapons deal simultaneous damage as you swing and kill animations work correctly.
1a) For this version of the mod, what I did was change the equip type on all the two-handed weapon templates (the original weapon all the other weapons are based off of that use that model [ie: a greatsword of asswhoopin is a greatsword]) from BothHands to EitherHand.
2) This version of the mod looks correct (you wield the weapons in dual wielding stance) but whenever you wield a weapon in your right hand, it stays on your back while you reach back and grab an invisible duplicate of it. The weapon swings, performs kill animations and does damage but for some reason, it just is invisible. This happens on any weapon. If I switch the weapon from the right hand to the left, the switched weapon will show up. I have no idea why this is happening or if there is anything I can do to even fix it.
2a) The second version of this mod actually changes the characters weapon anim type from twohandsword or axe to onehandsword or axe (hammers are treated as axes). That's the only difference between the two. This effect stays if I change the type from EitherHand to RightHand, LeftHand or even back to BothHands in the kit too. I believe it has something to do with the animation but I don't know how to check.
So as you can see and have said before, I can't understand why the right hand weapons are invisible in this second version.
It's rather frustrating and if I could get any insight or help on this mod, I would really appreciate it.
