Post » Wed Jul 28, 2010 4:53 am

So I played the game skipped no cutscenes in at the end I felt like I didnt know AT ALL what was going on. So I have some questions 1. Why doesnt Alcatraz speak at all in the game until the last part? I heard rumors becuse your lungs are like destroyed but can I get a real answer? 2. Can i get a small rerun of Crysis 1 becuase I dont have a 1000 dollar comupter so I couldnt play it. 3. When he says Dead man walking and Corpse walking does that mean that if he takes off the suit he dies? If anyone can answer these questions about this thanks :D

Can't answer the Crysis 1 stuff but Alcatraz is being kept alive by the suit because of his injuries, and possibly will heal?

Prophet in Crysis 1, Jack Hargreave sent him and the other nano-suit "subjects" to areas to test the nano-suits abilities. Many were killed. The part of the dead man walking, Prophet was infected by the Ceph, while the suit was trying to complete the DNA configuration (you complete in in Crysis 2.) So in order to complete the DNA configuration, Prophet gave the suit to Alcatraz, and broke the symbiotic bond between him and the suit. For Alcatraz not talking, IDK about that..

1. Alcatraz was drunk in the beginning of the game actually. Somewhat at least. Then the alien injuries basically made him unable to talk. By the end of the game, Alcatraz absorbed so much alien tissue and became so strong with suit symbiosis that it seems he managed to somewhat heal. Remember, the nanosuit is self repairing with the alien tissue absorbed and Alcatraz is a walking corpse. The suit keeps him alive.

2. You don't need a 1000 dollar computer to play it dumb console kiddie.....probably a 400 dollar computer would do, BUT I'll still give you a synopsis.
Crysis 1: You're a guy named Nomad, in a team called Raptor Team. Your squad leader is named Prophet. You are part of US Special Forces and your mission: Locate and evacuate researchers. You soon realize you're actually evacuating various CIA members from the island and your main priority is to get a scientist named Rosenthal and his team. This man's team was captured by the Koreans, who are on the island. They are on the island because they know about the alien power and they want to harness it for themselves. They capture the researchers to learn how to do this. US Special Forces, like Raptor team with the nanosuits, are supposed to stop this. It turns out the artifact the Koreans found were aliens (aka Ceph). These creatures woke up after A LONG LONG time. When you are about to rescue Rosenthal, Koreans activate a nearby alien and freeze Rosenthal to death and the whole room. You as Nomad escape the room. Your squad members start getting killed throughout the game and Prophet is eventually taken. When he is taken, Strickland, a marine commander, tells you what to do in the game. You basically fight off the aliens and eventually go into "The Sphere," basically the very cold parts of the island with all the aliens and their base. Fastforwarding to the end of the game, you find Prophet and he learned how to use alien weapons.....he learned so well that he could make a weapon from the aliens work without WEEKS of reverse engineering. It's wierd and he's insane. Strickland dies when fighting a big alien the Hunter to allow you and other marines to escape from an assault. You eventually must go on a ship away from the island, where you must have your suit anolyzed. Rosenthal's daughter, Helena (who, i should mention you DO rescue after Rosenthal dies), learns how to use your nanosuit to send a signal to hurt the aliens. The commander of the ship was given orders by Pentagon to nuke the aliens but Helena tries to go against them. The aliens are power and resource hungry and a nuke would only feed them. The commander doesn't care and shoots the nuke. The aliens are more powerful and angry and they bombard the ship in large numbers. I should note that Prophet leaves RIGHT BEFORE this happens to go BACK to the island. Nomad goes to help kill them off and eventually everyone either escapes or dies, except for Helena and Nomad's remaining squad member, Physco. Nomad goes to run and get an experimental weapon he saw before the aliens bombardment and at the VERY END, he encounters an alien mothership. He destroys it with Helena and Physco's help and they all escape away in a VTOL. They get a signal on Prophet's location on the island and Nomad simply says "Lock on his position. We're going back." NOW, this is where the game ends BUT there are still a bunch of aliens going around at the end of the game even after the mothership was destroyed. SOOOOOO, through the explanation of multiplayer map descriptions, it shows that after Nomad, Helena and Pshyco leave, the aliens traveled the world and were eventually all defeated by just HUMANS. THE END
Crysis Warhead: Okay, now in Crysis 1 Physco was told by Strickland at one point that he had an assignment by a woman named Emmerson and Physco left Nomad. Warhead is about Physco's story when he gets this assignment. Basically, what he has to do is fight Koreans for a dead alien. Aliens usually self destruct at death, but one particular one did NOT self destruct, thus making it "special." Koreans took it for reverse engineering but the US wants it back in the game. So it's Pshyco's job to go get it. Pshyco has a better personality than Nomad and is more interesting and he is helped by a friend named O' Niel. He and his friend fight Koreans and aliens again and again until at the very end, Phsyco gets the container with the deactivated dead alien. He gets the container after destroying a big ass RED Hunter (not blue) with a special experimental weapon and he pwns the Korean general trying to stop him. Hurray, he and O' Niel escapes with the container, the game ends. BUT, I should note that AFTER Warhead is where Nomad's last mission in Crysis 1 starts. When Nomad goes on the ship away from the island, Physco JUST GOT BACK with the container and the first thing Helena says to Nomad is to check out the alien Physco brought in. THE END

3: Yes. Alcatraz has so many freakin' injuries it's ridiculous. That's why Prophet did what he did. He put Alcatraz in the suit to save his life and to have him kill the Ceph. Prophet was contaminated by the infection and he killed himself so he can no longer infect other people in New York and so that he can attempt to break the symbiosis link with the suit (clearly that doesn't happen as by the end of Crysis 2, Alcatraz calls himself Prophet).

Let me know if you understand this shizzzz......

Oh yeah and let me explain what REALLY was the point of the Lingshan missions, you know...the link between Crysis 1 and 2. In reality, the Lingshan Islands mission for the Special Forces was a trick by Hargreave. He gave Nanosuits to the US basically saying "Here you go, now you can pwn the Koreans easily" and the US Special Forces was like "Hurray!" BUT, Hargreave SPECIFICALLY talked to Prophet and told him to report BACK about ANYTHING he sees or notices. What happened on Lingshan with the US vs Koreans on the island would've happened regardless, but the nanosuit program was squeezed in by Hargreave. Prophet notices the symbiosis, gets distraught and is then pissed because Hargreave did not tell him what the nanosuits would REALLY DO (basically force the soldiers to fight the aliens until death and to bind them to the suit and stuffz). SOOOO, Prophet gets the Nanosuit 2 to help Hargreave but oh wait, HE FINDS GOULD :D Gould wants to make a cure to the alien spore infection, and Prophet sides with him this time. Hargreave allows Lockheart to command CELL to kill Prophet as long as they return the suit BUT see....Prophet kills himself and Alcatraz is in the suit. Hargreave only allowed Prophet to die because he lost his trust, but with Alcatraz it was easy to gain his trust so killing Alcatraz was unncessary and ensured no damage to the nanosuit.

Yes. Too many console gamers have the idea that you need an expensive rig to play a game like Crysis and you don't. I've already seen this statement so many times and by now I'd expect the console community to realize you don't need an expensive rig to play (a) game(s) like Crysis 1 and/or Crysis Warhead BUT, clearly that's not the case.

But seriously, don't take offense to it. "Dumb console kiddie" isn't even that big of an insult >_>
