Questions about houses

Anyone know where all the houses are and what they cost? Also potential upgrades and their costs would be helpful too.

dont do it man. i kno its hard, stop watching streams.. things are so much more exciting when you discover it on your own.. i have spoiled games for myself in the past by reading too far into it. this game will have some jaw dropping moments if you just be patient. im sure of it.

I know that the house in Whiterun costs 5000 gold

Seems reasonable. Do you how difficult the inevitable quest is before it is available for purchase?

It′s part of the mainquest. After you helped killing the dragon the attacks the city your allowed to buy land in the hold
