6 Questions.

Post » Wed Jul 17, 2013 11:37 pm

1. Will ESOs characters be limited to the slender bodies that we've seen in the snippets of game play footage?
2.Will there be a community market system like RuneScapes Grand Exchange or WOWs Auction House?
3. If it's expected that materials and resources can be found all over and in the open, should we anticipate hoarders?
4. How limited will player Guilds be and what can we expect for and from them?
5.Should we expect invisible barriers keeping us from scaling mountainsides, or should we adapt to just using the intended roads and paths?
6. Will we have to worry about Imperial ambushes when we attempt to cross the border?

1. No.

2. I'm pretty sure that there will be something similar to WoW's AH, but don't quote me on that.

3. I believe everyone will have their 'own' materials in their world to see (It was awhile ago when I heard this), but I'm not sure I understand the question. Yes, there generally are people who gather as much as they can...so....I think so?

4. Guilds can be cross-faction, but you can only PvP with those from your own. You can be in 6 guilds total overall, I believe. Should probably check one of the available info websites for more accurate info (on every question here, actually)

5. I don't think this is something anyone knows at this point. Borders to other faction locked areas MIGHT have invisible walls, but I personally do not know.

6. That's a cool suggestion...no clue myself, though.

Honestly, you'd be better off googling "currently known ESO info", perhaps followed by the current month, such as 'July'.

Aha I kind of like the idea of question 6 myself, imagine a group of rouge styles hiding in the bushes while you and your guild mates are traveling, then arrows come flying from all directions.
Question 3 means that, in other TES games, Skyrim especially, you can enter a house and their pantry is all over the table. A Dev blog shows that ESO intends on keeping that aspect, and I just hope I don't have to worry about racing to get a few scraps of bread.

I remember hearing that stuff respawns at a reasonable rate in houses and such; not entirely sure how It'll work.

I'm not really the most knowledgeable person about ESO on these forums, though.

1. No.

2. That is what they tell us, that there will be some sort of community market type system for trading goods between players.

3. Uh, probably, but you could give people the ability to pick up bottle caps and you would have the same thing. Crafting materials won't be hard to come by.

4. I think you'll like them.

5. No, just be good at jumping.

6. Don't know.
