Googled it, checked the uesp and so on and so forth but couldn't find the answer. Got about 400 hours of gameplay but I've never been bothered to finish the Stormcloak questline (go imperials!), but I might start a barbarian/juggernaut soon and was just wondering what Stormcloaks get for reward?

For example imperial tend to be rewarded one handed weapons and shields after some quests. Do stormcloaks get two handers?

Typically just one-handers that are leveled to you. But, you also get the Bear Armor from Galmar right before taking Solitude.

Hm, I see... maybe I'll just make him sword and shield-fighter instead... Anyway, thanks for the help!
