so i got this problem and can seem to find out why and how i had a diff font but uninstalled it..
as u can see most of the things have the $ sign in front of it.. ps im in the middle of a castle mod thats why im over weight

Do you have SKSE installed?

And this should be in the mod section anyways.

Looks like corrupt or missing strings files(skyrim\Data\Strings). Check the font mods readme for install/uninstall directions. Edit: I think thats what it could be, anyway. Not 100% sure.

First of all, your version of SKSE is outdated. Next, what game version are you running?

i have skse 1.5 11 i think and no readme with the mod but its just a mod that goes in the interface folder nothing else

validate your game to download missing string files and update your game to 1.8.151 and update http://skse.silverlock.org/to version 1.6.4 and all will be fine.

Nothing to do with *.*Strings files.

What was missing was his Translate._*.txt file from ./Data/Interface/

You also shouldn't be on 1.7.7.0, 1.8.151.0 breaks nothing.
