I'v e got two PS3 accounts because one has my old (stuffed up) PSN on it and the other is my new online-only one with the new PSN account.
On my offline account, I have three characters who have two save files each. I cycle between them when saving just in case I have to go back -- I save once every hour or three.
Since the most recently used saves are at the top of the save and load lists, I usually only play one character at a time.Don't need to keep a list or anything because I know exactly where I am and what I was doing just by looking at the save info (character name, thumbnail, gameplay time, location). Still gotta be careful not to accidentally save over the wrong one. ;P
So offline account saves are like so:
Ranja
Ranja 2
Feldas
Feldas 2
(Bosmer whose name I forgot)
(Bosmer whose name I forgot) 2
Ranja 3 (original save, since we had to make a new save file with the second-last update)
Feldas 3
Ranja 4 (an old save from level 15 I didn't know I still had. Good for a laugh because the character's level 70 now)
(Original autosave at the beginning so I don't have to sit through the intro for a new character)
My proper PSN account has a new Skyrim character on it, so it's pretty tidy;
Veldannad Shadow-Delver
veldannad Shadow-Delver 2
(Original autosave at the beginning so I don't have to sit through the intro for a new character)
So basically, a two-part save cycle per character. Efficient on space, but that doesn't stop Skyrim having the biggest save file space hogs on my console. xD
