Playing as an altmer mage I've heard all sorts of snide and rude comments from guards and while watching a stream of Skyrim (dinner downtime before you ask) I heard a guard talk trash to a dunmer. Do the guards treat Nord with more respect than they treat the other races? Do they respect Nord mages less than Nord Fighters? Nord Thieves less than Nord Fighters?

I'd be pretty interested in knowing this as well.
