Quick-save

Please say this game has a quick-save feature?

I think it's almost essential in games like this where you come up against so many situations where there are so many options available, to be able to quick-save where you are, then try out your plan. Then if it doesn't work out, you can just revert to the save and try it in a slightly different way.

Can of worms right there. I support the quick-save feature. You don't have to use it.

I don't like to use quicksaves. It's like a drug and there's a tendency to end up doing it way too frequently. If a plan goes south there should be consequences, otherwise you risk a sort of gameplay where you rinse and repeat until something works. It ends up being a clutch where you don't have to think about your actions, mindlessly grinding until you get through. It doesn't have to be like that of course but it's often what happens when the convenient f5 button impatiently whispers in your ear to rush through the level.

That is a good point to be fair.

I would like one, but in addition to autosaves, so you won't get stuck in a situation where you are in the middle of a fight or with little health. Although you do have a point, RustyCleaver. I wouldn't mind if there weren't quicksaves.

Too be fair quicksaves are nice when you are experimenting. For instance would be convenient to figure out under what circumstances guards detect you. And also when you have crazy ideas you want to test. But for real playthroughs I try to avoid it.

I rather liked the lack of saving feature in the original Hitman games during the missions (it only saved between the missions), it made it a bit of a challenge and forced you to face the consequences of your actions if you messed up. But having a quicksave is very convenient and a standard feature so I would be surprised if it isn't there.

If the game design allows it I would rather have a mission select option after beating the game, so I can revisit missions with all the unlocks I had at the time of completion. This is my way around no NG+ BTW. Doubt it'll happen though...
