Just say I want to be a khajiit and my friend wants to be an Argonian. Are we able to play together or would we be restricted die to the factions?

Restricted from seeing him at all while in faction territory. You should be able to kiil him in Cyrodiil though.

I think that is a little bit bad. You shouldn't be restricted from teaming up to quest across Tamriel together just because we are different factions.

Restricted from seeing him at all while in faction territory. You should be able to kiil him in Cyrodiil though.

Source? I highly doubt there will province/zone restrictions, but there's always that possibility.

It is confirmed that enemy factions will be locked out from each other. We've known this for a while now. Khajiit and Argonians are enemies.

I understand they're enemies and you can't team up with them. What I'm saying is restricted to going into their territory, zone, province, whatever. Or is that what you mean by "locked out from each other."

Faction lock topics should go into one faction lock thread but your new. You will be able to join the same guild as your friend but even though you are in the same guild you still can't enter the same faction area or campaign in Cyrodiil.

That guild one is speculation, don't say it as though it's fact. In an interview when the question came up if players in opposing factions could be in the same guild, no definitive answer was given except for a sort of "hmm, maybe we can implement that" kind of nudge. Nothing's confirmed.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything about being able to join the same guild as somebody that is on another faction, they revealed little about guilds so far. A source on this would be great.

They said they were talking about it (as in, this hasn't been finalised). Will look for a source, pretty sure it was a video, sec.

Q: What limitations will exist on who can be in the same guild (with the three different factions)?

A: A guild is associated with an alliance. If you are of a different faction, you can join the guild, but can not be associated with a Cyrodiil campaign that they are having. You can be in multiple guilds.
