Radeon 6xxx series

DId anybody with radeon 6xxx series got rage to run at large cache? or anybody at all with 1 GB Vram?

iam using 6850 HD so iam interested in this card in particular...

I have a 6700 and it is finally running great w/ a large cache (except for the flag problem, which is supposedly a driver problem that ATI is working on).

I have a 6850 and I can't run very well in large or small cache. Either way I get constant (almost) freezing. 100% cpu usage spikes. If I go down to 11.8 drivers its a little better.

My card runs great my issue is I get screen lock up for a few seconds every few min :brokencomputer: And I can get low fps but I have played so much in CCC and w/ configs could be due to this :wink_smile: So for now no made Rage config and no crap other then remove video in rage start up command line. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I did try every fix I could find on line but nothing worked :banghead:

i7 CPU 975
6 gigs ddr 3 ram 1600MHz
Radeon HD 6990 vid card 4GB GDDR5
Screen res is 5896 X 1080 <---samsung MD230x3 monitor
win 7 ultimate 64bit

6870 1 gb here. Flawless 60fps with AF and large texture cache, and aa @ 1080p.

I also have a phenom II x4 980 @ 4ghz and 8gb 1600 ram, if these make a difference.

I found the page on this site w/ the fix for low Fps and freezes ... Well it fixed it for me I was able to play a hr of RAGE online w/ out one issue its 100 % stable for me now :celebration: I used the 12th post down to fix my issues on the link below :foodndrink:
