Radiant Quests Questions

So is there any point to the radiant quests? Are we supposed to mesh them in with the critical quests? I gotta say i'm not a fan of the new quest path seperation. I am already leader of the Companions, Thieves, and the College but the path to getting there was much to short and happend without the feeling of really earning the right to be the leader. Now i'm supposed to go do these low caliber missions when I am the leader, it just seems silly.

Anyone else thinking the same or is there some method to make the two quest lines mesh that i'm missing?

I don't see how it could work differently. How fun would it be to sit there on your throne and give quests to other adventures? Having that said it would be a nice feature if you could recruit new members (any random NPC) and have them gear up and follow you. Maybe a system similar to M&B Warband (where you actually can rise to be King).

So the radiant quests are not essential and are just there for things to do when the critical quests are done? If so, why are the critical quest lines soo short? Took alot longer in Oblivion to become master of a guild and you felt like you earned it, in Skyrim not so much.

i felt the same as you once. But then I scrapped my character, started over on master. Now I know I've earned every step of ground I walk on. Doing things the hardest possible make you think at the end of the quest "hell yeah, I did that".

I found playing on adept to be challenging for the first 25 lvls but ever since I hit lvl 35 the game has become a cakewalk, I think I will have to up the difficulty to feel like I am earning anything.

I just liked how, in Oblivion, you got passed around to guild members of different ranks and had to earn their respect before advancing in the guild. In Skyrim your dealing with the top people in no time. Hell, I feel no one in the thieves guild "knows" me and are just like "you seem like a good guy, based on that we'll make you our new master". Pretty lame.
