So, how common are radiation storms? I ask because in FIFTEEN hours of gameplay, I have yet to see one happen. I've traveled over a large portion of the Northwest section of the map, haven't used much Waiting or Sleeping, and over a week has passed in-game. No radiation storms.

Anyone else radiation-storm-less?

I have played for about 30 hours and have only seen 2-3, so they seem a bit on the rare side.

I'm 14 hours in seen one coming out of a mission building near Cambridge.

I bet you are not far in the main quest...

Nope. Only done a couple of main quest missions. I'm guessing this is a situation like the dragons in Skyrim? They don't start showing up frequently until you trigger some sort of MQ progress?

i had them 3 times in 4 days of playing. enough.,

I had my first one today. Only MQ thing I've done so far is talk to that crazy lady twice. You know, the one with the sight.

They seem quite random. I didn't see one in 10 hours. Then there were two during one hour

And i haven't been to Diamond City yet, so doen nothing towards the main quest

I'll just say that the first time I seen one was a main quest mission, soon there after more started to pop up...

Its both Surreal and Beautiful at the same time. I'm hugely impressed by it visually, given that this is vanilla Fallout 4 and there are no mods yet to make them look even better.

i had one happen the second i left the vault for the first time and reached sanctuary... its completely random

I've seen about 4-5. They don't seem to be very rare on my game.

15 hours and not gone further than rescuing the minutemen as far as main story goes, seen a few in very various locations. Even got one inside one of the cities.

I've been playing a bit over 20 hours now and seen about 6. They are very random. I may not see any for many hours of play and then get two relatively close together.

I have not been doing main quest. I just made it to Diamond City and haven't done anything there other than sell stuff.
