I recently made the mistake of purchasing RAGE via Steam for use in Windows 7 on my iMac. Having played hundreds of games using Windows / bootcamp on my quad core iMac and having them all run acceptably well, I figured RAGE would be no different. Unfortunately I couldn't even get the game to ever launch and spent/wasted a LOT of time trying to figure out a work around to no avail. I updated my drivers. Reinstalled/downloaded. Everything under the sun but the game still quits when I hit play and gives me that annoying windows message that "RAGE has stopped working." The problem event specified is BEX or something. I have no idea what that means. Another thing I tried was to verify my files within steam and it keeps coming up that there is "1 file missing" and that Steam will go and redownload it (which it proceeds not to do.) I have no idea where to go from there. Surely there must be someone out there who has got RAGE working with a boot camped Windows 7. If you have or can offer any suggestions at all please let me know. There are many many people I have run into who have purchased this game on Steam with my exact problem. I have seen them on forum after forum with no one being able to help. It's time this issue gets fixed or if someone has figured a work around, to get the solution out there to save others time and extreme frustration in future,
