I'm having no luck getting RAGE to install from Disc 1.
Second copy of the game and it still won't go past 20% before the Xbox reboots.
Disc 2 and 3 installed without much fuss.

Has anyone else experienced this?






Xbox 360 S w/250GB HDD (170+ GB free)
1st copy of RAGE stopped at 19%
2nd copy of RAGE stopping at 20%

Okay, I'm not sure why this fixed my issue, but formatting my HDD did the trick for me

If anyone else is having an issue similar to mine:
move any files you want to save off your HDD (if you can)
then format the HDD and try installing RAGE disc 1 again.

Did you purchase the 360 Slim with a 250 gb hard drive or did you upgrade the HDD from a 4gb HDD?

I bought it without the HDD originally, then added the 250GB HDD to it afterwards.

I've gotten it installed finally after I formatted the HDD.
(This is the second time I've formatted it, 1st time was when I first put it in my 360 S)

If the formatting hadn't worked I would've tried a new HDD.
