RAGE froze while it was saving, should I turn it off?

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 5:00 am

Hi there.

First post in this particular games forum... but I was just playing rage frenzy (card game) on easy mode, and after winning 4 times in a row I thought it was time to save incase I had a bad streak and then lost it all.

Ironically, The game froze when saving. I'm now a bit afraid to turn it off. What if it corrupts everything on my xbox? I remember having the same inocodent on Oblivion and it did exactly that. Anyone know what I should do?

Well this is a bit of a no-go.

I'll leave the post here anyway.

I left the game on for 2 hour while I tried to find a way to get around having the curruption, but I didn't find a way. However, I came to acception and turned the game off. For anyone else who ever has this problem or is afraid of encountering it I can assure you that it is safe to turn it off. It seems as if Bethesda has come up with a way of only the game file being saved corrupting, as opposed to the whole hardrive corrupting like it did for me when the same happened in Oblivion.

The games auto save however, did mean I didn't have to compleatly restart  . I'd have to say that if anyone from Beth does end up seeing this, I want them to know I am very apreciative on this, although I'm no tech wizzard and not even sure if it was meant to be intergrated.

Bethesda didn't make the game, only published it. ID made the game.
