Hey guys
I bought Rage a few days ago, I knew about the technical problems that the community experienced with the release, but I read about Driver updates and patches and thought a game like this should fix those problems after months after the release date.

My Hardware:

ATI HD 4850 512mb, AMD Dual Core 5000, 4gb ram, windows xp 32bit ( I know iam actually not using all of the 4gb ram because of 32bit)

After days of searching, fixes in the internet and trying to get the game playable I still have texture pop ins and performance issues( game runs sometimes in slowmotion, fluently but slow) and iam playing on lowest graphic options.

I tried every ati Driver out there and all the fixes with cache folders, launch options, configs and selecting different options in ati catalyst.

Actually iam using catalyst 12.2 configurations: Tripple buffering on, vsync always on, catalyst A.I on
Steam launch option +jobs_numThreads 0

It runs better than ever before but still its no fun to play because of the issues above.

I heard about many problems especially with ati HD 4850..
Anybody got a idea what I could do??
