Hello,

I got a Macbook Pro 15" (2011) with a i7 2.2 Ghz CPU and an ATI 6750M Gfx card.
I bought RAGE as retail edition, installed it via steam on Windows 7 64bit SP 1 (bootcamp).
Steam updated RAGE to latest version right after the installation.

ATI drivers currently installed: amd_catalyst_11.10_preview2_win7_vista.exe

I installed different drivers, always clean uninstall/install process.

Any thoughts? Would be nice to get this fixed, as a huge Doom/Quake-Fan, it's quite frustrating... :-/

Install the Rage hotfix driver over the 11.10 Preview 2 drivers and see if that fixes it.

Yup make sure to run drivesweeper and get all the AMD drivers removed properly. I ended up reinstalling Windows 7 64 on my Mac.. runs great now.. I got the same system as you, but got 8 gb of RAM.

edit:

I installed driver sweeper: uninstalled driver.
After that, I installed the 11.10 Preview 2 ATI driver: went into the game, cluster-bug.
Then I installed the amd_catalyst_rage_performance_driver: blurry big textures, like old picmip 15 in quake 3 arena.

Ugly stuff, think I'm going to throw the game in the garbage and concentrate on important stuff...

At least it is working for you.... On my MBP (2011 17 inch) it crashes on startup. Have downloaded it 4 times now (Steam), and no joy.... Have emailed Steam twice, and no responses yet.
