I recently bought this game and downloaded it on steam and receive the above error message..I have contacted Steam followed all their instructions to no avail...also did the graphic driver updates the dx updates...I have a laptop with AMD dual core cpu at 2.9GHz and a decent HD Radeon gpu and systemrequirementlabs.com shows that it should be able to play...but to date a no go. Are there any magic bullets out there?
