Yeah its bin a week and still Rage dont work on my PC please let someone write AGAIN what too do too play this game IF YOU GOT GEFORCE! I DONT HAVE ANY RADEON

GTX 285 1GB, CORE 2 DUO 8400 3 ghz, 3GB RAM ,WIN XP SP3

For me, it's impossible to play Rage with my desktop PC (E8500 @3,16GHz, HD6850 1Go, 4*1Go DDR2, Win 7 64 bits, 23" 1680*1050), whereas the BF3 beta worked very well (as Crysis 1, 1.5 & 2, Deus Ex Human Revolution...). Sometimes the game starts very well, but I have some (a lots in fact) micro-freezes (like playing with 1 img/sec), other days it's impossible to launch : the program is not responding (I don't know if this word is correct, sorry but english is not my native language). And the CPU is always working at 100%.
My notebook runs RAGE with no problems (ASUS, i5-2410M, GT540M, 4Go DDR3, Win 7 64 bits, 14" 1366*768) , but I don't want to play on it (the screen is too small for me and RAGE is a bit "ugly").
With these two PC, there's also a problem on textures, which are very long to appear. But I think I'm a lucky guy, because I've never seen any artifacts.


I want to add that I pre-ordered the game (retail box). I really hope it'll be possible to play to RAGE very soon, the game seems to be very fun, very immersive. Please, keep working on it .

i will wait 2 weks and i try too run this game on new PC with i7,gtx 580 and win 7 ............ and i hope another patch will come out

I wonder where is the second patch to fix the freezings!

I can't get pass the first minute on the first mission because it freezes on my way out of the city and the game is forced to close.

After many tweaks I think I solved the graphics problem but I can't be sure because I can't play the game out of the first location!

60 bucks for nothing so far

I've heard that a new patch is coming, about textures. I really hope it's not the only one improvement they have done...
I'm fed up with waiting for a patch which should probably not solve my issues. In fact, I've noticed that this year, all the games released by Bethesda had serious issues : Fallout New Vegas (according to people I heard), Brink, and now RAGE... I've still not preordered Skyrim, and I think I'll not buy it soon. Only in few month, when I'll be sure that there's "no bugs".

I wanna play RAGE !! I've payed the game in time, but I can't play more than 1 week after the release. Keep working.
