I scoured the forums for this problem and could not find it. This is not the "I cannot load save games" but rather the "I cannot save the game even once" issue. I found one other occurence of this bug reported on the internet and much to my frustration nobody answered the person. I thought I might have better luck posting it here, where it lives.

Here is the issue:

Right when the game starts it tries to save after the arc lands and I get "there was an error saving your game", so I try to save manually, same thing. And then I get to the bandit's hideout, tries to autosave but can't so it kicks me back out the door. The game is unplayable now from this point on since it won't let me in the hideout without autosave.

Help?
I tried running steam as administrator and disabling my antivirus just in case, no luck. I can't seem to find anyone with the same issue so far. I'm on a pc with windows 7.

Windows 7 x64 (Home)
Nvidia GeForce GT 540M
Intel Core i5 230Ghz
RAM 6 GB

Please, any insight would be appreciated.

Have you tried verifying the game files through Steam? Something may be corrupted.
