Raising area levels difficulty? Early level area's evolve to

Post » Wed Dec 05, 2012 12:39 pm

I start a character at level 1 on EXPERT difficulty.

Say I went into a dungeon and cleared it at level 4.

Then waited 3 months in the game.

Then returned to that same dungeon once it has been reset, and I'm level 81.

Would those enemies in that dungeon be locked in a "lower level" so they would be SUPER easy for me to kill (because I first discovered/entered the dungeon at level 4)?

OR

Would the enemies difficulty correctly compensate for my new level?

Thank you for whichever Dragonborn knows this.

Any info much appreciated, exercise those fingers and give me some knowledge!

Except for certain critters (like the dragons added in Dawnguard), the game stops scaling things around level 50. And not everything scales fully - giants are set level, other monsters only scale within a range.

As for dungeons, each dungeon has a level range - they won't scale outside that range.

I think a dungeon will scale to a new level when it resets. But I'm not entirely certain. Sorry.

I have heard people say that once we enter a dungeon it is locked at that level for the rest of the game. I don't actually know if this is true, though.
