raising decapitated corpses?

Post » Sun Aug 19, 2012 6:48 pm

This just popped into my head, didn't see it being mentioned in search, but has anyone decapitated an enemy and used a raise dead spell on them? Do they reanimate headless or does their head go back on or does it just not work?

You cant raise them. You just get a message that the body resisted the magic.

That's a great question.

How didn't it work? You just couldn't reanimate a decapitated corpse at all or it just doesn't rise headless?

Nevermind, answered.

thats slightly disappointing, having headless dead thralls would have been pretty cool.

Maybe the headless horseman doesn't want anyone stealing his spotlight

Ya know, the fact that the headless horseman exists, you would think that they would have used the same model as a decapitated model. Apparently not, cause I cant see anyother reason as to why raising a headless corpse isnt allowed.
