He kicked me to Oblivion. I swear I was spinning in the air for a good ten seconds or more while I waited for loading to kick in.

Anyone else have a funny Giant story?

Same thing happends to me, giants r badass it seems.

Also one of them rather clubbed a nearby wolf than me wich was bad for the wolf ^^.

I swore I'd stay off these forums for a while but I couldn't help myself. I accidentally ran into a few giants. At first they seemed friendly, so I got closer. BIG MISTAKE. One of them lifted a huge foot and tried to stomp all over me, and the other one tried to club me to death. So I legged it :biggrin:

When a massive humanoid is readying his weapons and growling as you get closer it's probably common sense to back off!

Or have a Dragon swoop down and come to your aid by grabbing the giant and tossing HIM in the air a few hundred feet.

I still think it is something wrong when a dragon is no match for your power, but a giant will send you flying for several miles with one hit

I'm a bit disappointed they aren't neutral and non-aggressive like in the demos. I feel TES games have to many things in nature constantly trying to kill you.

Sometimes having things exist more in the background and to be fights only if you want to fight them is nice. Nature doesn't have to hate the PC.

However, it never takes long for a user mod to show up that makes animals less aggressive.

I killed me one! Not sure if it was scripted but when I made it to the W town (name escapes me), there were these guildsmembers (The Comrades or something of the sort) who were taming up on a giant. I helped them out :smile:

They're basically the slightly less upstanding version of the Fighters Guild.

I finally had some time to wonder around after work and I get it now. Giants have some places marked that are theirs. If you get near they start shaking their clubs. If you pay attention you will back off.

When they aren't guarding their homes from human but out and about doing daily things like herding mammoth they will be peaceful to you.

That is actually kind of awesome. They are selectively peaceful unless they are protecting themselves, or their home.

Lol, I saw a giant standing on top of a flying dragon, weird glitch but it was funny none the less. I'm guessing it was supposed to have been picked up and thrown but that didn't work out so well.

Giants don't take lip from dragons. They use them as cabs.

Let's not forget Trolls. First one I ran into killed me in 2 hits! Wasn't expecting them to be so friggin hard to fight.
