Random BSOD - Possible fix.

If you have ASUS XONAR soundcard , make sure you have GX feature disabled (not green lighted)

GX feature enables EAX emulation , obviously Rage uses OpenAL already so it's no need for this, this is only for older games with EAX, from the times when Creative had a monopoly over the whole sound market with their proprietary API.

Stewox, I have this problem (BSOD) in RAGE. But my audio is Realtek ALC888. This is the only game/program with BSOD on my PC! My PC is not overclock, I test prime95, orthos, memtest, furmark - NO errors, NO overheat. I also check power supply voltages - normal. Video driver is Catalyst 12.1a preview, but I think the problem is with all vers. In the beginning(with maybe old drivers) its only 2,3,4 BSODs in the Eastern Wasteland. Now I can't play... 10, 15 mins max and BSOD. This is anomaly. I don't play RAGE anymore... I play Quake II, Doom 3, Dota etc - no problems no bsod. I hate id tech 5 with this pop-ins and bugs!!!!! sorry for my english.
