I'm level 22. I've done the Greybeards quests. I haven't seen one random dragon yet. I've been exploring all over on my horse. I've been in cities. Nothing. I've killed some scripted dragons, but have not seen any random ones. Am I really this unlucky!? I need dragon souls!

Wow really? Because I have like, 12 or so shouts with 5 souls to spare. Do you fast travel a lot? I tend to fast travel half way to where I'm going, then actually walk the rest. A fine balance.

...But to answer your question, you would seem unlucky, I guess. I mean, if I were attacked be a dragon in real life, I'd probably consider myself UNlucky, but w/e.

Yeah, I have no idea what's going on. My buddy gets at least one dragon an hour, sometimes 2-3. Anyone have any suggestions, or has someone had this issue? I hope something isn't bugged, cause I've put a lot of hours into my first character

Stick closer to the mountain edges, and higher elevations if possible. I just encountered a Dragon and a Frost Dragon in close proximity to one another near a Mount.

Today, about 6 dragons attacked Dawnstar over the course of the day while I was there. It was a crazy day.

I'd rather have your luck.

Fighting too many dragons in a short amount of time really makes them lose appeal.

Just keep questing etc, you'll eventually come across them.

I'm in your boat. I've only encountered one random dragon so far and I've got a reasonable amount of hours clocked.

Aye. I tend to dwindle close to mountains and the sort. I'm not sure what their preferences are, but sticking with typical dragon behavior, mountains seem to be where they dwell for me.

Okay i'll try sticking closer to mountains. The only reason I even posted is because I haven't encountered ONE random dragon. So I'm only concerned something glitched for me. Hopefully i'll see one sometime soon. I have like 5 shouts I need to unlock lol.

I'm in the same scenario. I'm level 15 and have clocked in 49 hours, and the only dragons I've seen is the initial one at Helgen, and towards the beginning of the main quest. I've done some of the Greybeards stuff, but still, no dragons. In 4 separate occasions a dragon has flown overhead and ignored me. I've tried shooting them with my bow to make them engage me, but I can't hit em'. Everyone I know is talking about fighting them, and all they do is ignore me .

Me too. I haven't found one dragon at all. I have only seen one dragon in the game and that was the beginning dragon.

Level 16, have seen about 3 scripted and 8 random. 2 of the 8 were situations where I was just playing hide and seek with my companion with no quests activated. Then I saw a dragon attack some people from a distance, went there and ripped its soul. Another time was funny though, I just walked on a path and suddenly a dragon slided from the left to right side of the path, just before my feet, dust everywhere, but it was heading for some other guys further away. Pretty funny but I ripped its soul too

This is making me sad. I want stories of random dragon attacks
