Random letter D in Lady Boyle Cellar?

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:23 am

When in Dark Vision there is a capital D under the staircase in the cellar of the mansion. I took a pic of it but it won't let me post pics on here. Any ideas if it means anything?

A new member has to have a few posts under their belt before they can post links. It helps to cut down on spambots and such, sorry. :) If you want to try and send me a link via PM (not sure if that will work) I can post it for you.

Got it - here is the link... that is odd

Edit: I wonder if it was worldbuilding's way of marking different types of assets. Even so, that is kind of a cool catch! :) I never noticed anything like that when I was playing through.

haha yeah, for some reason I have been going through a large portion of the game with Dark vision on ( kind of how I went through Arkham Asylum with detective mode on the whole time) and as I was running I saw a glimpse of it and had to check it out. Interesting nonetheless.

It looks like a textural fluke to me. Maybe an art asset that didn't get properly screened.

It's the first letter of the code to Havelock's secret alphabet-based safe that you can find if you freeze time, jump off the cliff after him, and blink back onto a secret entryway to the lighthouse!!!*

*=not really.

Did anyone else notice the other anomaly when you exit the Boyle cellar to the sewer?
Near the chair, on the ledge under the water near the edge there is what looks like a pearl or eyeball embedded in the ledge.
It glows white around the edges, making it look like something you can interact with, but you can't.

Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread, but thought since on the subject of strange things in Boyle cellar....
