So I found a "http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ranger_holodisk_message", and figured it must be an unmarked quest item... but every named NCR person I've found doesn't have an option to mention it. Also, the wiki doesn't mention an attached quest. Anyone know if there is one, or is it just a random flavor item?

I think that's a reference to the battle of hoover dam, when the town was blown up. There's a memorial for them when you enter Boulder City
