Post » Fri Jan 21, 2011 12:58 am

Okay, So I was playing the game and came to a loading screen, and the note at the top says Something about miners trying to find a unopened RARE safe at the bottom of a cave ?

Do you guys have any ideas ? Or has someone found it? Or maybe tell me what's in it ?

Thanks Alot!

I think it's kind of supposed to be poking fun at we scavengers.

When I read that from the loading screen, I laughed. All I could think of was: "Retrieving a rifle from the depths of an irradiated hole (Vault 34)."

Of course, when I thought of Vault 34, I stopped laughing. And started crying.

I'm with you. I love camouflage. A lot. But no amount of camouflaged guns, or life-saving equipment will make me go down there a third time.

Similar to vault 22. Pass. Once was enough for me.

Why do vaults have to be so damned creepy? why aren't there any happy vaults, filled with kind folk, like the followers, or the vault 101 people? sheesh. Vault 22 looked so promising too. so pretty on the outside. then BAM, Signs aliens jumping out at you from nowhere. Do you have any idea how hard it is to clean brick stains out of underwear?

Vault 3 and vault 21 are nice places with nice people in them! Okay, 21 is a concret filled hotel now and only has one resident and 3's population were massacred by fiends when they recently opened the door but it still counts!

Vault 21 has been turned into a tourist location/hotel, and vault 3 is filled with savage tribals who are possibly contemplating killing you with a laser, turning you into an ash-pile, and snorting you. It's always something with these vaults. the only vault that wasn't either a horror show, or falling apart was vault 112, and thats only because the people were being kept alive inside VR pods. Hardly normal.

I want to see something like Vault 21, mixed with like.. Megaton.

Civilized natives living out of a vault. Maybe a small megaton-like city around the entrance to the vault, and the Vault is where the higher-ups reside, but the vault door remains open. No creepy crawlies, no psycho malcontents, no freaks, mutants, or radiation, just good ole' human civilization, flourishing.

Psh, Too much to ask.
