Raul...

So, I finally upgraded Raul and got his Mexican armor.

So I went to test him vs a small deathclaw, both with and without the upgrade.

He seems better without it, cause he can actually wear the 5% crit hat. Looked like he was doing more damage without upgrade.

Anyone know if the upgrade is actually working?

I might test it more tonight, if I get a chance.

Also, anyone know how Ferocious Loyalty works yet? Is it constant while under 50%, if not, what is the duration?

Ferocious Loyalty is a constant +50% DR whenever your HP is below 50%. If it's at 50% or above, the effect is removed.

As for Raul, I don't know if the bonus is working, but 5% crit is HUGE, especially for the weapons Raul is bet at. So you could remove the hat off him* and give him a beret of your choice. I know I will (hat looks so damn bad anyway).

* To do this, open the console, click on Raul, use "showinventory" to see the hat's ID, then "removeitem ID" to remove it.

Thanks for answer to Ferocious Loyalty, been wondering that for a while.

As for Raul, I will likely just make him 75% repair, because I do not like using console.

I just never use mods or console for the most part, in games like this.

Oh wow, I couldn't see playing any game where Bethesda has had a hand in development (even a minor one like this case) without mods. They make games far more balanced, challenging, atmospheric and overall interesting.

But each to their own.

Oh and I took a look at the Old Vaquero perk, it should be working as intended (+33% RoF), and it affects those weapons:

Lever Action Shotgun, Brush Gun, Trail Carbine, La Longue Carabine/Cowboy Repeater, Ranger Sequoia, Hunting Revolver, Mysterious Magnum/.44 Revolver, Lucky/.357 Revolver.
