No not that one. I helped the captian, killed the guy he said to, reported back to him, recieved some gold, oh. Go and see if you get the quest from the consuler (spelling) who met you at the boat. He is the one who give you a quest to go an investigate something, and then you get the house as a reward for the completation of that quest.
