Luckily kids wont know about this game when he starts school, and will be forgotten once he becomes advlt.

Probably.

I find it hilarious that his middle name is Tom.

Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer

Anyways, I just saw it on Yahoo!'s front page.

I expected the comments to be bashing it, but it would seem they don't have a problem.

Trust me, I was close to flaming, how can one be so blind but to not notice a thread like this was posted less than an hour ago.

They say exactly why in the article. Because it's a name they really love.

They fully acknowledge that it will more than likely cause the kid some issues, but they so dearly love the name they decided to use it anyway.

Well, it seems to be new to the other posters. So my thread does serve a purpose.

There's two already, and I found them both in less than a minute.

If you want my honest opinion, I think this is wrong. Skyrim will come and go, but that name never will. Heck even Billy Jo Jimbob would have been better.

What if he asks what his name means? He will probably kill his parents afterwards

Well, I'm sorry.

I also think it's wrong. No matter how great it is, it's still just a video game.

I don't think its so bad. It just sounds like any other foreign name. A lot better than Moxie Crimefighter or Pilot Inspektor.

As I said in the other thread, if it were me, I would be delighted to have a name that is for the most part, going to be unique to me. Instead I have a common name and run in to people with it all the time so it never really feels like its *my* name. It wouldn't of mattered what inspired it. I think you guys are a bit to harsh.

The name itself sounds pretty awesome. I just think it's wrong to name your kid after a video game character.

I would just never let him know.
