They say exactly why in the article. Because it's a name they really love.

They fully acknowledge that it will more than likely cause the kid some issues, but they so dearly love the name they decided to use it anyway.

If you want my honest opinion, I think this is wrong. Skyrim will come and go, but that name never will. Heck even Billy Jo Jimbob would have been better.

As I said in the other thread, if it were me, I would be delighted to have a name that is for the most part, going to be unique to me. Instead I have a common name and run in to people with it all the time so it never really feels like its *my* name. It wouldn't of mattered what inspired it. I think you guys are a bit to harsh.
