So I'll start with my question, Does anyone have a good FPS optimizer? I've seen a few on Nexus, but I'm not sure which one is the best.
Alright, onto my mods

They are currently in the process of being created, but I figured I'd post this here just incase another mod I missed already did it, I dont waste my time.
Mod 1) Realistic Exploration.
As you were exploring the dungeons, crypts, caves, and other lairs, fighting monsters, and notice all the candles burning? hmmm.... Why is that? Then alas! you come upon a ancient dragon door, one which hasnt been opened for thousands of years, you crack the code and gain entry thanks to the beautiful claw, but what ho? MORE burning candles? What kind of sorcery is this?! (I never knew Forever Last also made candles).
My mod focuses on changing this.
1) I will snuff out all lights where they dont make sense, I.E. abandoned caves, deep within crypts, behind locked doors etc.
2) In my mod you may find some lit candles where they make sense, Example: A bandits hideout, even if there are no bandits there atm, they "could" of been there not to long ago, or a cave that is inhabited, or even crypts where there are currently badits, or NPCs which would need the light or light the way as you go.
3) I'll need help with this myself, I'm not sure how to script it or make it work, however, I want to also have the big fire pots, and large fire urns, to have the option of "activating" them, which would turn them on, as though you lit them yourself. I want this to be done with torches.
4) More torch stands throughout areas, or, even replacing all stock torch stands with ones that can be activated with torches to help light your way.
5) All general goods stores having more torches available that get restocked at the normal time.
The 2nd thing this mod would focus on, is what you find in these areas. The one thing that really irks me is the random loot in Skyrim. I'm an avid Morrowind lover, everything makes sense where you find it, etc. I'm sorry, but finding apples and carrots behind a door that's been locked for thousands of years just breaks my whole illusion and immersion in my RPing.
1) I'll be making new chests, etc. which will "spawn" things that make sense, these chests, etc. will only be found where you'd expect to find them.
I may expand this to other areas as well, no longer my dear adventurers will you fight your way through a ship at port, wrestling with the guards, and crew, and come upon your bounty deep in the hold, only to find nothing but apples and carrots in the hundreds of barrels..... &--#62;.&--#60;;;;
Mod 2) Expandable Mines,
This mod I will need alot of help with. When I say help, I dont mean anyone giving me physical and timely help, but simply, any tips or tricks you may know that will allow me to accomplish this.
The goal of this mod is two things. A) To allow mines to be dug deeper, and B ) To own your own mine, which you can expand.
A) As you mine out Mines, you wait weeks and weeks, then come back, to find the same rocks in the same areas.. It gets rather boring, and again breaks the illusion your actually mining, or that those 10 other NPCs are doing anything other than scratching the rock.
What this will do is simple, everytime you mine out a mine and clear it of ore, the next time you come back after the normal clock to reset the ore, the mine will have expanded. New corridors, new catwalks, new mining area's, etc. All the old areas will still be minable, but there will be more, giving the illusion that the miners and you are digging deeper into the earth. I plan to have every mine in Skyrim be expandable by up to 5 times or more.
B ) Buyable Mines from certain NPCs, these will be in different locations depending, and like the normal mines be expandable up to 10 times or more (depends on how lazy I get). You can also hire NPCs to mine for you, they'll drop the ore into a crate outside of the mine for you to pick up, the amount in the crate will be determined by the size of the mine + how many workers = how much ore they dig up in a day. Some of the ore will be sold, some will be kept. So you will find gold + whatever ore mine you have.
You can also purchase a Smelter which will appear outside of your mine, then hire a Smelter NPC who can melt down the ore into ingots if you wish, which will appear in the crate as well.
