I had been on a quest with my housecarl Lydia, aware that she was with me all the time "watching my back", when I decided to stop playing and get something to eat. I got up from the computer and for a few moments, she was still behind me, following me into the kitchen. I almost said something to her. It really felt as if she was there. Although I like being alone, I almost missed her when I came to my senses. This is how wrapped up one can get in these games.
Even in the game, I feel stupid when I get lost or can't find what I'm looking for and have to keep backtracking because she must think I'm such a klutz.
And, no, I'm not schizophrenic.
