Yeah, alright, so i agree with all you guys about the lag issues with the P2P multiplayer, but guys, look at all the pro's of the game, not the cons, this game is absolutely AMAZING! been playing for about 4 hours in total today, can't get enough of the awesome online gameplay Crytek can offer! level 24 online nearly 25! its just really really good, i hope some of you can be inspired by this post to just give the game another chance, for all we know a patch could be released soon and everyone will be really happy, all im saying is dont give up on a game that has the best graphics ever seen on console, (a HUGE acheivment!) and the best first person options (Power/Stealth/Armor/ect).

exactly why are we finding reasons to hate the game? since the online multiplayer era began noone wants to be challenged instead they just want luck to strike and them to be all of a sudden the best, you have to put work in and adapt to the game before getting good at it!!

Unless they make this game run on dedicated servers, I don't think it will be as great as it could be. I so wanted this beautiful game to beat COD, but I am getting the same lag as from a COD game. Sometimes worse. They knew there was multiplayer issues when the beta was only up for 2 days. Someone should have manned up to delay its release. I got this game strictly for multiplayer and I haven't played campaign.

well all i can say is i hope they improve the multiplayer for the issues currently at hand, but to experience MAXIMUM interactive gameplay i strongly suggest you play the campaign as it delivers greatly better than i ever expected.

I agree with everything you said, but a patch to fix lag and hit detection would improve the game.

So basically you just said that Crysis 2 is crap because the 'server is horrible and has too much glitch bug' and has 'crap multi online play' because of the servers.

I don't see many Crysis 2's traded in at HMV, Game or Gamestation. I'm sure some people have traded in, but that happens with every new game.

I want to play this game. Its awesome when you are the host. You can be getting shot at, turn 180 degrees and get the guy shooting at you. When you aren't the host, the lag ruins it. You are shooting a whole magazine at someone, and he turns around and kills you in what appears to be one shot. This game should be wrecking all others but it isn't because of the hosting system.

As long as I'm matched up with people that are reasonably close, the game runs smooth as butter and it's frickin' fun. Anyone who says anything else is lying.

I agree, i have a blast when i manage to get a decent connection to the other players.

However when the game starts to act up it really pisses me off, like for example i hit a guy 3 times with my melee attack and he still kills me... GRRR!

i agree with the TC of this post and most people who have posted since. this is a grerat game. ofcourse it has its flaws...all games do, but as stated before the pros of this game far outweigh the cons. im sure crytek will release a patch to fix all major issues with the game. by the was TC ( Thread Creator) mind if i use what you said and post it on another gaming site? Gamefaqs.com it could use some common sense thinking.

Yeh.. the game has MASSIVE potiential and i mean MASSIVE.... but........ no game is fun with lag no game especially a FPS... so the just one aspect of the game can absolutly ruin the game play.. and IMO that is what is happening on crysis 2..

Crysis 2 imo has brought truly unique and brilliant innovative gameplay that I haven't seen in a long time. This game at its core has tremendous potential to reinvigorate the fps genre. I just sincerely hope they fix the online issues & bugs asap for those of us who apprecate what is here . It deserves that much. Valuable lessons learnt in this game will hopefully improve a Crysis 3, we shall see. Peace

i'm glad people think the same! Just think how fresh this game is, nothing else has ever been created like this on console, so what i'm saying is we're going to have to treat it different! , ok so Crytek could have delayed the launch and fixed the're online issues, thats a fair argument against and i'm sure Crytek would agree that a few mistakes were made with the release and the BETA, i just think the game is an amazing acheivment and the Framerate issue is due to a bad connection online, because compared to single player, single player is very smooth! so if they fix this matchmaking issue (they will i'm sure) then maybe the connection will improve and it will be smooth gameplay all around, thanks for the support guys
