Is it really impossible to make an attractive elfbosmer char

Post » Wed Mar 06, 2013 5:50 pm

No, I certainly don't believe this myth. Elves are different from humans in Skyrim and have a sort of alien look, but it is quite possible to make them interesting and attractive.

This is Ciwedrin, my bosmer female character:

Yep, Elves are naturally ugly. Goes well with their ugly personality.

I wouldn't say they were ugly, just different. It often seems to me that, the more attractive elven characters i meet are the ones that have more human like features, in terms of female beauty. Like the eyes or a delicate chin & mouth etc..

They're not supposed to be attractive to humans are they, and making them look more human to make them more attractive is really missing the point I think.

I can make fine looking elves.
To make them look more ''attractive'', I always make the chin smaller and the cheekbones larger.
And for the Dunmer with their wrinkles, in my opinion it doesn't make them look older, just tougher. I also think that female Dunmer are often the more attractive elves, but that's just me.

Almost every Bosmer looks the same too me. She looked similar to my own. Effort has to be put it in to not make them ugly.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder...i'm sure there's people who find elves pretty just like i'm sure there's furries that are fans of the kitty gypsies :P

Personally I don't understand why you would want pretty peoole in the harsh land of Skyrim

Not really. Once you know what type of lips and jaw height and cheekbone height you need, the rest is up to you. I can make elven chicks hotter than the human chicks.

I've been happy with the last few Bosmer I've made, takes a bit of tweaking but I wouldn't say impossible.

My point was that it is quite possible to make them attractive, because this myth was floating around in the forums. Doesn't matter if she's similar to yours. Elves can't be too similar to humans either. It defies the point if having a different race

The only race I seem to excel in as far as beauty are Altmer (both sixes) and female Nords.

I can't make male humans look good for [censored].
