i really miss skyrim. Please...tell me of your personal favo

My memory of skyrim is starting to slip away from me. Tell me of the personal places where you go that make you think "wow" it doesn't have to be the obvious places like riverwood and whiterun. it could be a camping site somewhere in the Rift etc.

Share your personal slice of paradise in skyrim that you love to just visit and sit there at some times! also if there is a pic available for it then share! :)

i'll start with mine i guess:
One prominent place that has always stuck in my memory that i used to visit occasionally was the imperial camp located near Winterhold. The cold edges of the sea of ghosts lay just out of reach of this camp, the harshest of skyrims weather beats down and yet the Empire persist to hold their ground, no matter which frontier it may be. In my personal opinion, since i was an imperial loyalist, it gave a little inspiration!

As for me, it would be simply walking on the shore of the Sea of Ghosts and watch the see, the isles/icebergs in the distance make my day. I'm just missing the whales. ;) There is also this grotto with the sunken ships inside, I don't remember its name though. And so many other places I can't remember right now...

Beacon of Stendarr. Looking out through the snow at the valleys below, I just find it inherently beautiful.

The various campsites around Falkreath. Falkreath hold is gorgeous and reminds me of the area around my father's home out in Minnesota.

Azura's Shrine. Being a Dunmer who worships her probably being the biggest reason I like the spot.

i found the sea of ghosts eerily quiet. A vast frozen wasteland of water and sharp ice, only the cries of the wind echo across that empty tundra...

it would be freaking awesome if beth added in a sea monster easter egg hidden somewhere in that huge ocean!

The one place that stands out most in my memory is Eldergleam Sanctuary... the variety of flowers, trees and waterfalls ...it is so beautiful and serene.

Bloated Man's Grotto. Simply beautiful.

The view from the balcony in the Jarl's bedroom in Dragonsreach.

And stopping every now and then on the way up to the Throat of the World (the peak, not High Hrotgar) and just taking in the view.

Mountainous area around the Cyrodiil border, tattered plains of Whiterun and the NW forest behind Solitude.

Seeing as I just started to play Skyrim about a week ago I have not seen much of the game so far. However it always completely amazes me how Bethesda can create a world so rich and wonderful and so full of things to do. It must take them forever to test all of the things they add to the world to make it a place of true amazing wonder!

Why not High Hrothgar?

I simply meant the the real beautiful view I was thinking of is higher along the track than HH.

The little island in the middle of the lake between riverwood and falkreath. The same lake that lakeview manor overlooks.

I absolutely love the swamps south of Solitude. In the morning when the Sun is rising and the mist is on a rolling boil it looks great. I frequently go there for a chill.

Skyrim is a mystifying place, and I'm always doing double takes when I'm out adventuring.
