Why would I go to a midnight launch when Skyrim is already on my computer? I will be playing at 12:05 after it unlocks ROFL

I enjoy midnight launches just to be wtih like minded people. If I could always filter who I talk to by only people who go out in the middle of the night for a gamesas game, I would. At the Fallout 3 launch there were over 100 people, a huge Brotherhood of Steel statue, a Dallas radio station complete with "radio ladies," and a TON of free swag. I still have a hardbound guide, 2 shirts, 6 keychains and a handpuppet all given to me for free since I was 3rd in line.

I don't expect that for Skyrim, but it should still be fun.

Exactly. Those of us who pre-ordered on Steam are Pre-loading now so we won't have to wait out in the cold outdoors for Gamestop or whatever to open up. We get to sit home and laugh at the people who do though. LOL

Time to get out a bottle of Gentleman Jack and watch the progress bar.

#2 Hit me the hardest. I was considering just wearing my beardhead, and leaving behind my cardboard abomination...but now...now I have no choice but to don this terrible homemade catastrophe.

#1 goes without saying. If you're in line, you're getting Skyrim. There's no question to it.

If youre not willing to go out at in the freezing rain and snow while risking potential sub-zero temperatures, or worse socializing with... people, then you are not a true Elder Scrolls fan.

They open the doors at 10, so we don't sit outside.

Not really up for an investigation, but how do you think HE got hold of that spoiler? They are at a book store, right?

How do we find out if our Gamestop is having party? ( I know mine is doing the midnight release but IDK if there's a full fledged party there.)

I don't have a choice. I work at Gamestop and I'm working the midnight release. Not that I would choose to not be at the midnight release if I didn't have to work it :P

No idea.
During GearsofWar3 release, to my surprise, some guy WAS GRILLING HAMBURGERS AND HOTDOGS!!!
I was already in costume, and a burger would've been hell to carry.(Helmet and Lancer in one hand? OVER ENCUMBERED!)

And the number one reason to go to a skyrim midnight release party is:

The chance to secretly mastvrbate a few feet away from total strangers in your car!!! Dig ding ding! We have a winner folks!
