So I have a credit for one free audio book from http://www.audible.com/ and I was wondering if anyone here could recommend something? I don't always have time to sit down and physically read, but I can listen to an audio book pretty much any time so this would work best for me. Thanks for any recommendation.

No, but I've been thinking about that one. I'm just unsure if it can keep my focus after only watching the show for so long.

Star Trek The Next Generation: Genesis Wave Books 1&2 are pretty damn good and it's voiced by Tim Russ (Tuvok).

I watched the first 2 seasons before reading the books and I'm so svcked into the series now. The books contain so much more detail. Also you can read the thoughts of characters which is a plus, to help you learn their true motivations.

In my opinion, choose something light and fun for audio books.

If you want to read Game of Thrones, or some huge epic book, read it as you normally would. I find that audiobooks prevent me from really being absorbed in the deep story and visuals.

They have a decent selection of comedy books, which I find to be the perfect genre for audiobooks to really shine, especially because the author usually reads it and it's not supposed to be taken super-seriously.
