Recommendations for a mouse?

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 2:14 pm

I thank all of you ahead of time for helping me. :)

My basic request is I need a mouse for gaming, right now I have a wireless three button Logitech mouse (No idea what the dpi is). I am looking for something that would run with games well, mostly games like Skyrim. I have an idea of what dpi is, I just need some suggestions for what would suit me.

Some restrictions for my new mouse:
  • It can't cost more than fifty US dollars.
  • It has to at least 4 buttons.
  • It must be wired.
  • It will be unlikely I will consider mice with game logos on them.
I have been looking around Newegg and saw some I might be interested in:

Adjustable DPI and thumb buttons. Its been a amazing mouse for the past 2 years. The weight feature is meh but you can adjust the weight if thats your thing.
The dual mode mouse wheel is amazing IMO.
You can browse foward/back with the buttons on the side.

Its worth it for $8 over what you want to spend, $8 is not a deal breaker for a high quality mouse with a lot of features.

yeah, I like to bind knife/nade to the extra buttons when I am playing a FPS.
The mouse just feels good, glides good and picks up so well. The adjustable DPI is a awesome feature too.

Oh I've had that mouse, well similar one. It had weight nodes for you to adjust the weight of the mouse.

I think this should do you well.

  • Will perform as a great gaming companion.
  • With the right outfit can have multiple buttons.
  • Let it drink coffee and it'll be wired.
  • No game branding included.
  • Varieties available with ears on the back.

Logitech though are usually a good solid brand, good return and replacement policy as well.
