Red Alik'r Hood... attainable? : V

on my secondary toon, i just joined the DB and noticed a gentleman, with a red alikr hood. I want it for my main, is it possible to get? If so, is there a way to get one without joining the db? Or without murdering?

I think there's some Alik'r stuff in the pass south of the throat of the world, if you know where it is.

You could max out your pickpocket and pick the respective perk and try to take it from him.

That is the Redguard Hood, which is different in color from the Alik'r Hood.

Nazir is the only one wearing it I believe, and unless you're destroying the DB and murdering him, you cannot get it save from a console command (pc).

I would like the short sleeve version of the DB armour that Arnbjorn wears but I don't think it's possible to get it. At first I thought he wore armour without the gloves and shoes but it actually seems to be a unique version of the armour.

It is if you destroy the DB. I killed all them fools one by one and took all their gear, including some sweet Madonna style dress-you-up-in-my-love fingerless gloves. :biggrin:

Edit: Ahh, check this out:

Arnbjorn wears a unique short sleeved variation of the http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Shrouded_Armor_%28Skyrim%29. If the player steals his armor and equips it is will still have it's standard long sleeves.

Crappy.

Doing Aventus Arentinos quest, and when you are caught by Astrid, you can kill her instead of one of the tied up hostages, (you can then free the hostages) then you will be sent on a small quest to destroy the Dark Brotherhood, when you kill Nazir he will be wearing it... ta daaa

But its not murder, its not counted as murder, your murder count does NOT go up, they are hostile towards you, they are enemies...

And you cant the short sleeve version unfortunately.. i cant remember wether he doesnt have any armour in his inventory or when you take it it returns to normal on you.. either way i was also dissapointed to find you couldnt get it :c

Technically it isn't counted as murder, but I believe he means without killing someone. However, they way you said to get it is the only legit way.

Yeah I just edited my post above... you can steal his gear and it will magi-warp into the longsleeve edition if you equip it.
